I've got to get to some chores so let me see if I can get this down fast and I can elaborate more later.
It started as something I wanted to do for my husband and an Uncle. My Uncle's family (or my biological mother) is hard to find any information. But, I spent 2 or 3 months trying to get one for my husband's family. The surprise came when I found out that my father in law wanted this information. So.. guess what he got for Christmas?
For both families I've been fairly limited to what I can find on the internet. Then, the other day there was email... from a cousin! The person remains unknown to me actually but it's kindof cool to have stumbled upon someone living among the slew of people that have been gone for decades if not centuries. This is a cousin that is on my husband's side of the family.
Awhile ago I found my half brother. I thought this was cool but because of the family history thought it best to let sleeping dogs lie. But, I was encouraged by others who would want to know if they had a sister, to contact him and I did. Suddenly I'm not so sure I did the right thing. Ah well, it seems I have questions to answer.

When All Else Fails....
Just buy a new car. Problem is now solved. I didn't want to buy a car. I'd rather wait until business picked up and we were again comfortable but one way or another the payments can and will be made. I just would rather have waited a couple more years.
The second place we took it to did manage to know there was an issue, narrowed it down to two things. They wanted to bypass the security and if it started with no problem they knew to fix their other idea. So, to be prepared they tore it down and waited.. and waited and waited more. It always started after that.
Finally they decided to have me take it home and when I backed out of the parking spot.. it wouldn't turn!! It was nothing they did and in fact, I'd asked Dodge to check the power steering. According to them it was fine. If nothing else don't you think they might notice that a bolt is loose IF they actually checked the power steering pump???
Anyway, it runs but I'm unsettled about the car. My husband wanted me to replace the one I had sometime soon and I was now beginning to spend money to keep it running so.. it got traded in for a Ford 500. Nice..car too.
I wanted the GT or even a Mustang but it just seems wrong.. really wrong to have a car like that and stick hand controls in it. Makes it lose it's "cool" appeal. Before I upset anyone, that is MY OWN opinion regarding a car that I, me, and myself own! But, I think, if I end up picking up my daughter's son very much once she goes back to work, then I'll be glad that I have four doors to get him in and out of the infant seat.
In the meantime, I have to wait until Wednesday to drive this car. That's when it goes in to have the hand controls installed. It'd be nice if I could feel my behind.. the seats warm up! Talk about nice!!

A Woman's Poem
(Just some email)
He didn't like the casserole
And he didn't like my cake.
He said my biscuits were too hard...
Not like his mother used to make.
I didn't perk the coffee right
He didn't like the stew,
I didn't mend his socks
The way his mother used to do.
I pondered for an answer
I was looking for a clue.
Then I turned around and smacked the shit out of him...
Like his MOTHER used to do.
He didn't like the casserole
And he didn't like my cake.
He said my biscuits were too hard...
Not like his mother used to make.
I didn't perk the coffee right
He didn't like the stew,
I didn't mend his socks
The way his mother used to do.
I pondered for an answer
I was looking for a clue.
Then I turned around and smacked the shit out of him...
Like his MOTHER used to do.
